Lymphatic drainage is a very light handed technique that encourages the body's lymphatic system to drain excess fluid from the tissues at about twice its typical speed. It is wonderful pre and post surgery to reduce swelling and scar tissue. Apart from increasing lymph flow, lymph drainage has a pain relieving effect and can be used to treat recent trauma such as sports injuries. In two hours typically four to five areas can be treated.
